MBABANE: Prime Minister Ambrose Mandvulo Dlamini has officially launched a E30 billion post-COVID19EconomicRecoveryPlan expected to create about 40 000 jobs, in an event held at Royal Villas, Ezulwini on Friday.
Speaking during the event the PM said the the plan aims to revive the economy through high impact, private sector-led projects in Tourism, Agriculture, Infrastructure, Wholesale, Manufacturing, Energy & Textile.
“This plan is structured to be a stimulus package that will push our economy into a much higher level of productivity. It also provides the fiscal space for Government to invest in critical public service delivery as outlined in the National Development Plan.This is a comprehensive Plan that has its foundation on growing the country’s GDP, creating jobs, and fast-tracking government revenue mobilisation for improved public service delivery. It also embraces our intention to become an export based economy.”
