MBABANE:Ngomyayona Gamedze, the former Senate Deputy President wonders why Government Spokesperson Alpheous Nxumalo did not make noise amid reports suggesting that, Chairman of the Minerals Board Prince Guduza recently went to China.

Gamedze was reacting to editor Zweli Martin Dlamini’s Tuesday interview with the South African Broadcasting Corporation(SABC) Channel Africa radio where the editor was speaking about Minerals Board Chairman Prince Guduza’s trip to China to engage potential investors, it is alleged that the Prince was sent by the King.

The editor told the SABC that it’s just a matter of time before eSwatini dumps Taiwan and establish diplomatic relations with the People’s Republic of China(PRC).

Speaking to this Swaziland News on Tuesday, the Sive Siyinqaba Chairman said, they were harassed by the police after their trip to China was politicized by the Government Spokesperson.

“When we arrived in China, we gathered that the people we were visiting were already aware of what was being discussed here about our trip, they have a strong intelligence.Alpheous Nxumalo politicized our trip and we were surprised when he kept quiet after it was revealed that even Prince Guduza went there to engage investors. Alpheous ngeke a-laste, akwentiwa kanjena lakaNgwane, uhamba wetfuka bantfu ubabita ngema-terrorists, ucabanise live nalamanye emave.Mswati is unpredictable”, said the Sive Siyinqaba Chairman.

The Sive Siyinqaba Chairman alleged that the police even grabbed their testicles while searching them at the Oshoek Boarder upon their return from the Mainland China. 

Police Spokesperson Senior Superintendent Phindile Vilakati had not responded at the time of compiling this report.

On another note, Government Spokesperson Alpheous Nxumalo rushed to media to lie that, Sive Siyinqaba Chairman Ngomyayona Gamedze,former Minister Gideon Dlamini, Swaziland Democratic Party(SWADEPA) President Barnes Dlamini and the then Secretary General(SG) Mbongseni Shabangu went to China to plot against the country.

The Government Spokesperson did not substantiate his claims but went on influence the harassment of the political activists merely for traveling to China.
