MBABANE:Justice Tfwala, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Eswatini(UNESWA) accepted a newly upgraded R1.38million Cyber Space from the First National Bank(FNB) on Monday.
This was disclosed by the Bank’s online platforms, the institution of higher learning now survives with donations amid government failure to fund education including Universities.
“Today,the FNB Eswatini Foundation officially handed over the newly upgraded FNB Cyberspace at the University Of Eswatini.The computer lab was initially sponsored by FNB Eswatini in 2007 and the E1,38 Million upgrade will ensure that students have an inspiring space where they can continue to follow their dreams”, reads the FNB online report.
On another note Gabie Ndukuya, the President of the Swaziland National Union of Students(SNUS) recently told this Swaziland News that the financial situation within the Universities was affecting the students and the quality of education.
