KZN:Mlungisi Makhanya,the President of eSwatini’s main and largest political party, the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) delivered a special message from incarcerated pro-democracy Members of Parliament(MPs) Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube to Julius Malema, the Commander-in-Chief of the Economic Freedom Fighters(EFF).
Addressing thousands of EFF supporters during the launch of the party’s manifesto at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday,the PUDEMO President said,the incarcerated MPs appreciated the support they “are receiving from the EFF leadership” while facing persecution at the hands of the oppressor,King Mswati’s regime.
“These MPs were arrested by Mswati’s regime, the oppressor, merely for supporting the calls by the people to elect their own government”, said the PUDEMO President.
Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube were arrested by the police after an order allegedly issued by King Mswati,an absolute Monarch,they were subsequently convicted by Judge Mumcy Dlamini on politically motivated terrorism charges.
