MBABANE: A graphic designer was literally on tears as he narrated how Mavela Sigwane, the Federation of Eswatini Business Community(FESBC) was refusing to pay his six hundred Rands(R600,00) after he designed three(3) posters for him.
Speaking to editor Zweli Martin Dlamini, the graphic designer said, to him the R600,00 “is a lot of money as he is a young man trying to earn a living”. He alleged that,he discounted the costs of the design with the hope that Sigwane will just pay him.
“Eish Nkhosi, ngicela ningisite mani ngiyayidzinga lemali, simo sibi lakaNgwane kulukhuni kona lokuba na-R600.00.He is literally refusing to pay me and when I told him about the media, he said, I must report him to journalists if those journalists will then pay me”, said the Graphic Designer.
Reached for comments this week, Sigwane confirmed knowledge of the outstanding payment.
“Hi Mlangeni, I know him and we know about this outstanding payment”, said the FESBC Head of Business Transformation.
