Eswatini King Mpumalanga High Court case against editor Zweli Martin Dlamini to be heard on the 13th August 2024.

MBABANE: The matter between King Mswati, eSwatini Government and Swaziland News editor Zweli Martin Dlamini will be heard by the Mpumalanga High Court on the 13th August 2024.

This is according to a court document known as Form B, signed by lawyers representing the editor and King’s legal representative.

The editor is represented by lawyer Gordrich Gardee and Senior Advocate Myron Dewrance,lawyer Gardee is the former Secretary General of the Economic Freedom Fighters(EFF).

On another note,the King is represented by lawyers from Savage, Jooste& Adams Inc.

King Mswati and his Government took the editor to court over critical articles,demanding to be given seven(7) days before responding to questionnaires, the editor is vigorously opposing the application.
