MBABANE:Macaleni Dlamini who was in charge of King’s cattle in the various farms has been fired after using Mswati’s name to grab cattle from unsuspecting members of the public saying, the order came from the King.
Dlamini was first reported to the King during Sibaya, one(1) member of the public complained that, Dlamini was using the name of the King to grab their cattle, he allegedly used part of the cattle to pay lobola for his wife.
Efforts to reach Macaleni Dlamini proved unsuccessful as his MTN contract number was reported to be out of service.
“He has been fired for abusing the King’s name, grabbing cattle from members of the public”, said a royal insider.
It has been disclosed that, the once powerful Macaleni Dlamini has been removed next to the King and now working as a mere National Court Messenger.
But Percy Simelane,the King’s Spokesperson,when responding to this Swaziland News on the subject matter said, they view what happened to Macaleni as a normal transfer.
“What we heard about was his transfer to another State institution. We,therefore,have no reasons to think he was fired.Our experience is that transfers happen from time to time within the system. Also,we wouldn't know it was a demotion because personal files are confidential.His HR and himself are better positioned to respond to the issue of demotion",said the King’s Spokesperson.
