MBABANE: Magistrate Dumsani Magagula has reversed or canceled an order against Mlungisi Vilane who was forced to maintain a child he never fathered,Eswatini Observer reported in its online platforms on Monday evening.
It has been reported that,Mlungisi Vilane was reported by Lobesutfu Nkabindze at the Social Welfare department for not maintaining a child he had supposedly fathered.
The matter was escalated to the Magistrate’s Court as it was said that he was not cooperating with the department and as a result Magistrate Dumisani Magagula ordered Vilane to pay maintenance something he refused to do on the basis that the child in question was not his.
The Magistrate then advised him to perform a DNA test to prove his claim and after the DNA test confirmed that Vilane is not the father, the maintenance order against him was cancelled.
