MANZINI:Sipho Mhlanga,the Registrar of the Southern African Nazarene University(SANU) has on Tuesday disclosed to this Swaziland News that, on Friday the institution of higher learning will be hosting it's 14th graduation ceremony and four hundred and as a result,ninety three(493) students are expected to graduate.
“A total of 493 students will be graduating on Friday.350 from the Faculty of Education,100 from the Faculty of Health Sciences and 43 from the Faculty of Theology. Students started collecting their cards on monday and they were showing an excitement for this day. As an institution we are congratulating all graduates for their academic achievement,” said the SANU Registrar.
Reached for comments on the subject matter, Mancoba Kitso Motsa, the Deputy Secretary General(DSG) of the Swaziland National Union of Students(SNUS) congratulated the SANU graduates for thriving for academic excellence under hostile environment.
“As a Union we congratulate SANU graduates for their endeavor and for thriving for academic excellence even under hostile environment as a result of Mswati’s government failure to invest in education.What is more painful is that, they are adding to the pool of unemployment, that has resulted to young people in the country being depressed, frustrated and committing suicide,” said the Students Union's Deputy Secretary General(DSG).
Four hundred and ninety-three(493) Southern African Nazarene University(SANU) students to graduate on Friday.
