Eswatini government receives COVID-19 equipment worth E2million from UNDP

MBABANE: Lizzie Nkosi, the Minister of Health received COVID-19 equipment worth E2million from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP)on Monday.

 The equipment includes two ventilators, pulse oximeters, examination gloves, protective googles & bio hazardous bags.

The Minister expressed appreciation for this donation saying it will go a long way in protecting health care workers in the over 329 facilities around the country.

  \"We acknowledge with thanks the contribution from the UNDP. These are items that we are in dire need of to protect the health care workers in the over 329 facilities in the country. This support comes in timely when the stock levels on PPE are becoming diminished\"said the Minister.
