MBABANE:Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini who allegedly looted or failed to account for about R180million COVID-19 donations as per the report of the Auditor General(AG) Timothy Matsebula says, he is being persecuted and attacked for trying to fight corruption.
The PM was addressing an engagement meeting between Business Eswatini and Government at the Emafini Lodge on Thursday, he said no amount of intimidation and misinformation will discourage him from fighting corruption.
But the Prime Minister was recently exposed by this Swaziland News, he stands accused of interfering with the mandate of the Anti-Corruption Commission(ACC) by stopping the law enforcement institution from arresting Betram Steward, the Principal Secretary(PS) in his Office who allegedly looted over R20million COVID-19 donations.
