LUBULINI:Dr Thambo Gina,the Minister of Economic Planning and Development says,Government will ensure that all emaSwati have access to clean water and electricity by 2028 as part of the United Nations(UN) global social and economic development agenda known as the “Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs)”.
The Minister who doubles as Lubulini Member of Parliament(MP) told Lubulini residents during a community development meeting last week that, he would be happy to see his Constituency leading in development.
“I would be happy if Lubulini could take the lead with all homesteads having access to clean water and electricity by 2028”, said the Economic Planning Minister.
On another note, the Minister said, they were commanded by the King to ensure that, all emaSwati have access to clean water and electricity by the year 2028.
The Economic Planning Minister told the residents that, he will soon fly to the United States(US) to attend a World Bank meeting, he said he will come back with some national projects to be funded by the World Bank.
Eswatini has about 70% of the population living below the poverty line, some citizens survive though subsistence farming.
