MANZINI:Luke Lushaba,the Chief Fire Officer who is a subject of an investigation by the Anti-Corruption Commission(ACC) used his own Sprinters and Quantums on Friday to transport fire fighters from the Department of Fire Headquarters-Mbabane to the King’s Birthday Celebration at Mankayane.
It remains unclear who will pay for the transportation services and of the Chief Fire Officer did not allocate himself a tender to transport the civil servants under his supervision.
When asked by this Swaziland News to clarify who will pay his transport company for the services, the Chief Fire Officer failed to comment.
It is alleged that,the firefighters transported by the Chief Fire Officer “are the recruits” who were questionably employed.
