MBABANE:King Mswati received two hundred and fifty thousand Rands(R250,000.00) from the Public Services Pension Fund(PSPF) amid rampant looting and corruption within the public enterprise.

It has been disclosed that, some children of deceased civil servants receive only one hundred and fifty Rands(R150.00) monthly from the Pension Fund.

A questionnaire was sent to Elkan Makhanya, the Spokesperson of the Pension Fund but,he had not responded at the time of compiling this report.

Reached for comments on Tuesday, Sibongile Mazibuko of the Eswatini Pensioners Fund(EPF) said as pensioners, they noted the R250,000.00 gift that was made to the King and perceived it as another form of looting.

“We noted the R250,000.00 gift that was made to the King by our Pension Fund.Actually, we are preparing to go to court to reclaim our Pension Fund that was grabbed by Government and incorporated to be under the State. So as the Government belongs to the King, it means the Pension Fund is now controlled by the King and the looting will continue”, said President of the Ngwane National Liberatory Congress(NLLC) when speaking to editor Zweli Martin Dlamini.

On another note, the Pension Fund refused to be investigated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority(FSRA) amid allegations that billions were disappearing within the public enterprise.
