MANZINI:Sandile Mhlanga, the Managing Director of Inyatsi Construction has officially handed over the R647million Gege-Sicunusa road.

Speaking during a press conference last week, the Managing Director said, the road will promote economic activity within the areas including connecting the country with the world through the three(3) boarder gates being Mahamba,Gege and Sicunusa.

“The Gege-Sicunusa road services three(3) boarder posts, the Mahamba boarder, the Gege boarder and the Sicunusa boarder. We also have a service road that is leading up to the Magubheleni Clinic”,said the Managing Director.

On another note,King Mswati also noted and applauded the completion of the road during his recent birthday celebration at Mankayane.

The completion of the road by Inyatsi Construction comes after Kukhanya Construction,a contractor that was awarded the tender failed to complete it amid corruption allegations suggesting that, over R500million public funds were looted, the tender was then awarded to Inyatsi Construction that announced its completion last week.
