MBABANE:King Mswati’s mother Queen Ntombi Tfwala’s delegation will share over R3million as traveling allowances.
The Queen travelled to Singapore for medical checkups and is currently in Mozambique for a visit, her delegation includes over fifteen(15) security personnel and other personal assistant staff.
Information gathered by this Swaziland News suggests that, each member of the delegation will pocket between one hundred and thirty four thousand Rands(R134,000.00) and two hundred thousand Rands(R200,000.00) as a traveling allowance.
Reached for comments earlier, King’s Spokesperson Percy Simelane said, his office does not deal with hotel bookings and allowances adding that, it is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that handles such issues.
“We don't handle finances and hotel bookings,we would not know”, said the King’s Spokesperson.
Government Spokesperson Alpheous Nxumalo had not responded at the time of compiling this report.
