MBABANE: Themba Masuku,the former Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) has declined to comment after being ‘forgotten’ by the King in the recent appointments.
The appointments were announced by Attorney General(AG) Sifiso Khumalo on behalf of the King on Saturday.
Worth-noting, the King is yet to announce new Regional Administrators and Boarder Restoration Committee(BRC) members among other remaining Governing Councils,royal insiders say “maybe, the King will remember him” when announcing those appointments.
The former DPM was recently implicated in the R200million alleged money-laundering scandal involving All Nations Bishop Bheki Lukhele and others, as reported by AmaBhungane Centre for Investigative Journalism.
But apart from that, the alleged corruption addicted former DPM and an ex-member of the Ngwane National Liberatory Congress(NNLC), allegedly looted about hundred thousand Rands(R200,000.00) public funds in traveling allowances and he did this,by flying to Geneva to participate in the United Nations Children Rights meeting,other leaders participated virtually,in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
