TAIPEI:King Mswati has urged the Government to create a database with Curriculum Curriculum Vitaes of emaSwati studying in the Republic of China on Taiwan,so that it could be easy to identify job opportunities for them.
The King made this command on Thursday, after meeting emaSwati studying in Taiwan who asked him to create job opportunities for them.
“Having listened to your submissions, there is a need to capture your Curriculum Vitaes and create a database from which we can refer when the country requires the different level of expertise you are acquiring here. As you may be aware, Eswatini and Taiwan are in the process of building a biotechnology park. We must work towards emulating the success of the biotechnology parks in Taiwan, some of which have been able to generate about US$200 billion annually. We may not reach this target early on, but we can start somewhere in the region of US$10 billion”, said the King as quoted by Government online platforms.
The King is in Taiwan and this week, he attended the inauguration of newly elected President William Lai Ching-te.
