MANZINI:Khisimusi Ndlovu, the former Deputy Police National Commissioner allegedly purchased a home at Makholweni-Fairview from a murder suspect Romeo Shongwe who allegedly killed his wife and was later questionably granted bail.
It is alleged that, after being granted bail, the suspect sold the home to the former Deputy Police National Commissioner and it remains unclear if Ndlovu did not abused his powers in facilitating the release of the suspect with intent to benefit the home.
The politically connected former senior cop who is now part of the alleged corrupt Masundvwini Inner Council(Bandlancane),allegedly ‘kicked’ out the children of the late wife after purchasing the home from the suspect,he declined to comment when reached by this publication.
Efforts to reach out on bail murder suspect Romeo Shongwe proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.
Reached for comments Vusi Sithole,a resident of Makholweni confirmed that,Ndlovu purchased the home from a murder suspect who was questionably granted bail.
“As we speak,we don’t know the whereabouts of the children because their mother was killed by the suspect who was then granted bail before selling the home to Ndlovu. Now Ndlovu is part of the Masundvwini Inner Council that grabs our land here at Makholweni, many children are homeless because once their parents die, the traditional Council sells their properties ”,said the Makholweni resident when interviewed by editor Zweli Martin Dlamini.
But the Masundvwini Inner Council is currently making headline amid rampant corruption and grabbing of land from the poor including widows and orphans.
