MALKERNS:Gcina Dladla,the Executive Director of the Eswatini Environment Authority(EEA) was leading a climate-change awareness campaign at the Bushfire Festival last weekend.
Different environment preservation messages were disseminated by the Environment Authority team,that also used various strategies including entertainment to attract the attention of the audience.
The stall of the Environment Authority was also attended by among others,Prime Minister Russell Dlamini,United Nations(UN) Eswatini Resident Coordinator George Wachira and MTN Eswatini Chief Executive Officer(CEO) Wandile Mtshali.
Eswatini is already experiencing the effects of climate-change,Government and various organizations that include Yibutse Green Action are implementing programs that seek to create awareness and mitigate the effects of climate-change.
