LUYENGO:Gogo Mdziniso of Luyengweni is literally in tears after four(4) soldiers invaded and grabbed her land.

Speaking to this Swaziland News,the elderly said,her husband died in 1993 and she has been surviving by selling timber as her husband was owning the forests surrounding their home.

“My husband died in 1993,I was able to raise these children and put food on table by selling the timber he left for me as he was owning these forests.Lokwentekile-ke kufike emasotja langu four(4)asusa tihlahla tami,nangibuta batsi banikwe sikhulu saseKudzeni lendzawo. Kutsiwa leSikhulu sasekudzeni siphindze sibange laLuyengweni”, said the elderly.

Reached for comments, Luyengo Indvuna Dumisa Ginindza confirmed the matter when speaking to editor Zweli Martin Dlamini, he further urged this publication to contact the Ludzidzini Council as the matter was reported there.

“We are aware of the soldiers who are grabbing the land from Gogo Mdziniso and we have reported the matter to the Ludzidzini Council”, he said.

Efforts to reach Ludzidzini Council Indvuna Themba Ginindza proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.

In one of the videos, a soldier is seen questioning how many cows did Gogo Mdziniso paid through kukhonta to own such a huge land.

“Umuntfu ukhonta ngatingakhi tinkhomo endzaweni. Noma nine nakhonta nje nakhontela wonkhe lomhlaba, tingakhi tinkhomo lenatikhipha”, the soldier asked as he grabs the land,he was not immediately available for a comment.
