As business leaders,it is incumbent upon us to engage in meaningful dialogue on how we can collaborate with the government to design and implement tax policies that promote sustainable growth.
In recent years, we have witnessed significant changes in tax administration, driven by technological advancements and global best practices. These changes present both opportunities and challenges.Today, we will explore these recent trends, examining how they can enhance compliance, reduce administrative burdens, and create a more efficient tax system.By embracing these innovations, we can ensure that our tax administration evolves in a manner that benefits both the government and the business community.Dispute resolution is another critical aspect of our tax system.Effective mechanisms for resolving disputes are essential for maintaining trust between taxpayers and the authorities. It is imperative that we understand these processes thoroughly and seek ways to optimize them. A fair, transparent, and efficient dispute resolution system not only upholds the rule of law but also provides businesses with the confidence they need to invest and grow”, said the Business Eswatini Vice President-Trade and Commerce.
