NKILONGO:Thobile Dlamini,the Manyonyane Primary Headteacher allegedly banned Morning Assembly prayer and subsequently sold an old roofing material belonging to the school for personal gain and without informing the parents through the School Committee.
When this Swaziland News reached the Headteacher for a comment on Friday evening,she joined the fast lane and avoided questions.
“Hello-hello”, she said before declining to comment after this publication questioned her regarding the matter.
The school that situated at Nkilongo in the Lubombo region,was renovated by Government through Micro-projects after the recent storms.
It is alleged that after realizing that,the old roofing material might not be used,the Headteacher allegedly sold it and pocketed the money.
Sipho Dlamini,a parent confirmed that,their children were no longer allowed to pray adding that,the Manyonyane Primary Headteacher allegedly sold the roofing material.
“Shortly after her arrival, she banned the Morning Assembly prayer and as we speak,our children are not allowed to pray and connect to God.The school was affected during the recent storms and Government commissioned Micro-projects to renovate it. After realizing that Government has renovated the school,she sold the old roofing material for personal gain”, said the parent.
