MBABANE:Alpheous Nxumalo, the Government Spokesperson has announced that he will temporarily stop publishing in his online insulting platform, a few days after members of the public blasted and mocked him for insulting Lobamba Lomdzala Member of Parliament(MP) Marwick Khumalo.
Members of the public nicknamed Nxumalo “umcombotsi” on social media after the MP told him to stay away from him and continue drinking the traditional beer.
The MP reacted after the Government Spokesperson accused him of being a friend to editor Zweli Martin Dlamini whom he labelled as a terrorist and plotting to overthrow the Government.
This comes after the MP wrote an article for the Swaziland News expressing his opinion about the recent standoff between Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini and Auditor General(AG) Timothy Matsebula.
But members of the public came hard on Nxumalo and defended the MP while blasting Alpheous Nxumalo calling him “umcombotsi”, a traditional beer.
“We will be right back, sincere apologies for any inconvenience”, Nxumalo wrote in his online platform, however, members of the public told him to go and never come back.
Nxumalo lost focus as a Government Spokesperson for the State and became controversial after he consistently attacked editor Zweli Martin Dlamini and King’s Spokesperson Percy Simelane for responding to the Swaziland News,he accused the King’s Spokesperson of being in a romantic relationship.
Nxumalo then attacked the Lobamba Lomdzala MP merely for writing an article for this publication, he accused him of being a friend to a terrorist.
But in his latest insults, the Government Spokesperson mocked convicted pro-democracy Member of Parliament(MP) Bacede Mabuza saying he will lose all his wives if he refuse to take advice and apologize to the King.
