MONENI:Nomphumelelo Mahlalela allegedly sold her father in-law Sibhadvula Sihlongonyane’s home at Moneni, for one hundred and eighty thousand Rands(R180,000.00) and subsequently disappeared leaving orphans including grandchildren of the deceased without shelter.

Speaking to this Swaziland News on Wednesday, Moneni senior citizen(Umsumpe) Pitoli Shabangu said,Mahlalela was not even legally married to the son of Mkhulu Sibhadvula Sihlongonyane, she was Masihlalisane.

“What happened is,after the death of Sibhadvula, the owner of the home and his children, she sold the home disregarding the fact that, the home must be inherited by Sibhadvula’s grandchildren. She took advantage of the dispute between Moneni and Lwandle and introduced the buyer at Lwandle uMphakatsi yet Moneni is not under Lwandle but under uMntfwaneNkhosi. The current ruler of Moneni is Polycarp Dlamini”, said the Moneni senior citizen when interviewed by editor Zweli Martin Dlamini on Wednesday.

Efforts to reach the Lwandle uMphakatsi proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.

Responding to this Swaziland News,Brian Sihlongonyane,a grandson to Mkhulu Sibhadvula Sihlongonyane said,as a family they are hoping that, they will eventually get their home.

“We want our home back, that home belongs to us and we inherited it from our grandfather. So one of my fathers was staying with his girlfriend and after the death of my younger father, his girlfriend sold the home for R180,000.00”, he said.
