MultiStakeholder Forum(MSF) Chairperson says Tinkhundla Government ‘commemorated’ June 29 massacre by deploying soldiers,says regime aware it cannot be a normal day.

MBABANE:Lawyer Sicelo Mngomezulu,the Chairperson of the pro-democracy MultiStakeholder Forum(MSF) says,June 29 will never be a normal in the country and as a result,even the Tinkhundla Government deployed soldiers and the police to commemorate the day where dozens of civilians were killed for demanding democracy.

Speaking during the Visionary Perspective hosted by human rights defender Velaphi Mamba on Sunday,the lawyer emphasized that,Tinkhundla must and will eventually be overthrown.

“June 29 will never be a normal day in Swaziland and even the current Tinkhundla Government knows that and as result,soldiers and the police were deployed on this day”,said the MSF Chairperson who maintained that, the revolution to introduce multiparty democracy “is an ongoing process”.
