MATSAPHA:Senior Sergeant Homeboy Dlamini, one of the soldiers who were part of the team unleashed to terrorize and kill innocent civilians during the political unrest, has rejected an order transferring him from Matsapha St George’s to Zombodze Army Barracks.
A notice informing other soldiers about the transfer was placed on the notice board about three(3) weeks ago but, Dlamini was seen continuing with his duties at the St George’s Barracks leaving other soldiers wondering if orders are now defied in the army.
“Who will take orders if Sir Homeboy Dlamini is refusing to be transferred? Does this mean all of us must now defy orders?”, said one of the soldiers.
Lieutenant Tengetile Khumalo, the Army Spokesperson declined to comment about the matter.
Senior Sergeant Homeboy Dlamini is alleged to have told soldiers that, he was closer to royalty and therefore, cannot he transferred against his will.
Dlamini was among the soldiers who were deployed to kill civilians, he was later included in a team that was going around the country assaulting civilians including women.
