MATSAPHA:King Mswati has paid tribute to the late Police National Commissioner William Tsintsibala Dlamini who collapsed and died at the Oliver Tambo(OR) International Airport.
Addressing police officers and the Nation during the Police Day on Friday,the King then thanked Lesotho Police Chief for taking care of the eSwatini National Commissioner after he collapsed.
“We remember Tsintsibala wherever he is and really appreciate the Lesotho National Commissioner for taking care of him”, said the King.
William Tsintsibala Dlamini,the then National Commissioner collapsed at the OR Tambo International Airport and died,he was from attending an international meeting for National Commissioners.
The King further thanked newly appointed Liqoqo member Lydia Sijabulisile Dlamini,the former Acting Police Commissioner for working hard and being loyal while holding the position,he said Dlamini “is a good example that women are capable of leading”.
Vusi Masango was then appointed by the King as the new National Commissioner of the Royal Eswatini Police Service(REPS), the King urged police to support him while executing his duties.
