MBABANE:Musa Hlatjwako,the Director of Investments within the Public Service Pension Fund(PSPF) allegedly assaulted and almost killed his wife Winile Hlatjwako,a Standard Bank employee,for failing to give birth to a son.
The Pension Fund Director of Investments was reported to the police for domestic violence and the matter is pending before the Magistrate court under case number 4085/2024.
Worth-noting,the matter was kept a top secret by the Magistrate as it was heard in Chambers allegedly, to prevent journalists from accessing the file but in the process,the alleged perpetrator continued to assault his wife.
Sympathizers within the Magistrates Court contacted this journalist and assisted with the information after the wife was heard crying within the court premises saying,she was assaulted even during the day when the matter was to be heard by the court.
“Solo ngiyashaywa angisati kumele ngitsini kutsiwa ngatala tingwadla todvwa uphi umfana.Maybe lendzaba nayingatfolwa ngu-Zwemart ngingaphumula ngoba nala-Nkantolo kutsiwa licala alitekwe ngansense kuma-Chambers ngoba Hlatjwako yi-public figure, nalamuhla ngishayiwe nje(meaning: He is continuing with the assault,I'm being assaulted even when I’m about to appear in court for the case.Maybe if this matter could reach Zwemart he can stop because even today, he assaulted me. I am accused of giving birth to prostitutes because I’m failing to have a son)”, said the woman when venting her frustration to court officials and close friends at the Magistrate Court.
The Public Service Pension Fund(PSPF) Director of Investments is also Indvuna yeMcuba for Emgomfolweni uMphakatsi,l and the matter is pending before court.
