LUDZELUDZE:Lincon Motsa, the Director of Linac Investments trading as Ok Foods allegedly concluded a questionable multimillion Grindrod logistics business deal with his friend Sihlangu Nhlabatsi, the Chairman of the Swaziland Road Freight Association(SRFA).
Grindrod is a global logistics company and in eSwatini,it sources services to transport coal from Belfast-South Africa to Sidvokodvo or Mozambique, trucks owners provide the services through the Swaziland Road Freight Association(SRFA).
Motsa and Nhlabatsi are members of the Cycling Association and,eSwatini truck owners are accusing the two(2) of forcing them to fill-up their trucks at Ludzeludze Total Energies, a filling station owned by the Ok Foods Director.
Motsa declined to comment when reached by this Swaziland News while efforts to reach Sihlangu Nhlabatsi, the Chairman of the Eswatini Trucks Association proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.
But a truck owner told Swaziland News editor Zweli Martin Dlamini that, the deal that saw them forced by Sihlangu Nhlabatsi to fill-up fuel at Motsa’s filling station is worth millions.
“We are truck owners and Grindrod is contracting us through the waziland Road Freight Association(SRFA),we are forced to fill-up fuel at Lincon Motsa’s filling station, Motsa is Sihlangu Nhlabatsi’s friend and they are both members of the Cycling Association.Monies are deducted from our invoices with impunity and if you can calculate all the trucks that transport coal from Belfast to Sidvokodvo and Mozambique, Motsa is generating millions through this deal. Even if you are far, you will be forced to drive to Ludzeludze to fill-up fuel just for the benefit of Motsa. Another thing, the allocation is not fair, sometimes when the coal to be transported is not enough,Sihlangu would allocate his friends. For example,if we have ten(10) trips, you will find his friend that include Phakama’s son Muzi Dlamini and Mgewu Senzo Mkhabela, the ex-husband of African Alliance Chief Executive Officer(CEO) Nelsiwe Mabuza getting four(4) trips each while our trucks are parked.Under normally circumstances,we are supposed to equally share the trips. But once you voice out your concerns,Sihlangu would sabotage you and if he can get the information that I am the one who leaked this, he can ensure that all my trucks are parked”,said one of the truck owners when speaking to editor Zweli Martin Dlamini.
