MBABANE:The sources who allegedly leaked the Eswatini Financial Intelligence Unit(EFIU) State documents have alleged that,the Anti Corruption Commission(ACC) has over one thousand(1000) concluded corruption cases that were subsequently sabotaged.
“The only way to fix the country now is to leak more State information and secret documents so that the people can know what is happening in this country and they will eventually take action”, said the source.
The source who was speaking to this journalist on Thursday evening,then sent some documents of another high profile corruption case.
“Work on this one”, said the source.
Jabu Phakathi,the Spokesperson of the Anti Corruption Commission(ACC) declined to comment.
The Eswatini Financial Intelligence Unit(EFIU) documents include suspicious transactions for politicians,private and public companies including individuals,who were investigated for allegedly engaging in corruption and money laundering among others.
But despite the availability of evidence,the Anti Corruption Commission allegedly failed to arrest the powerful individuals involved in corruption.
Mbabane East Member of Parliament(MP) Welcome Dlamini recently called for action to be taken against those who leak secret State documents,however,it appears that,the sources are prepared to leak more documents saying they can’t watch while their country is being destroyed through corruption.
”The problem is that,the people of this country are not aware what is happening here, it’s only us with a privilege to work with information who know,things are happening and corruption is rife here. Just look at the mess within the Ministry of Health where there are no drugs in hospitals”,said the source.
