MBABANE:Judge Titus Mlangeni has jailed Matsapha Big Tree Galp Filling Station Issufomia Issufo Calu for three(3) months for contempt of court.

The Matsapha Big Tree Galp Filling Station owner had earlier complained about alleged corruption within the Judiciary and in one of his affidavits,he quoted Judge Mlangeni having accused Chief Justice Bheki Maphalala of corruption.

The businessman has been engaged in a marathon case with Galp Eswatini and he had on numerous occasions, complained that,Judges or the courts were bias against him and his company.

But last week,Judge Mlangeni sent the Galp Big Tree Galp Filling Station owner to prison,he accused him of failing to comply with court orders.

“The National Commissioner of Police is hereby authorized and ordered to arrest Mr. Calu forthwith and hand him over to the nearest Correctional facility to serve his sentence”, Judge Mlangeni ruled.

The Judge further noted that,Calu defied court orders preventing him from removing assets at Matsapha Big Tree Shopping Complex.
