MBABANE:Mr Henrik Franklin, the United Nations Development Program(UNDP) Resident Representative presented his letters of credence to Mabulala Maseko, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The event was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the capital city-Mbabane on Monday and the UNDP Resident Representative received a “friend to all, enemy to none” lihiya as a gift.
The lihiya written “Anginasitsa” means eSwatini is a diplomatic friend to all countries and international partners and does not have an enemy, it was a diplomatic slogan created by the late King Sobhuza.
Minister Mabulala Maseko and the UNDP Resident Representative discussed areas of mutual interest between UNDP and the government, particularly in climate change, energy, ICT, and youth empowerment.
