LOZITHA:Vumile Dlamini who was recently removed as the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the Royal Science and Technology Park(RSTP), amid the over R100million fraud and corruption scandal, allegedly locked himself inside his father’s ‘Lilawu’ at Lozitha.

It is alleged that last week,Dlamini who owns various multimillion mansions across the country, opted to lock himself inside his father’s ‘Lilawu’ situated next to King Mswati’s Lozitha Palace and, was refusing to open the door for people who came to check on him if he was fine inside the house.

As a result, royal insiders called this journalist saying,Dlamini must be monitored for his own safety as he might commit suicide.

The removed Chief Executive Officer(CEO) allegedly lobbied members of the royal family including the Liqoqo-King’s Advisory Council, in an effort to intimidate Information Minister Savannah Maziya who removed him amid the multimillion fraud and corruption scandal.

“Sewuye naku-MtfwaneNkhosi Simelane ayocela kubanjiswa kutsi abuyele emsebentini, uMtfwaneNkhosi watsi yena akatingeni tindzaba te-corruption. Uvele watsi “Lukhwekhwe lwakho Nkhosi tenwaye”(meaning; he tried to approached Prince Simelane for support so he can go back to work but Simelane refused saying he must deal with the situation himself)”,said a royal insider who was on the ground when other concerned individuals tried to knock at the door to check on the ex-Science and Technology Park CEO.

The over R100million fraud and corruption scandal within the Royal Science and Technology Park(RSTP) was exclusively exposed by this Swaziland News, the CEO was subsequently removed and is alleged to have disappeared with office keys.

But Dr Andile Methula,the Acting Royal Science and Technology Park CEO subsequently confirmed that keys have been surrendered by Vumile Dlamini.

“Setikhona tikhiya Nkhosi(meaning: the keys are now available)”, said the Acting CEO when responding to this Swaziland News on Thursday evening.

On another note, the removed Chief Executive Officer(CEO) has been avoiding to clarify issues when approached by this publication, since the scandal erupted within the State owned company under the Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology(ICT), he declined to comment when reached on Sunday.

This publication gathered State documents suggesting that, Vumile Dlamini was investigated by the Anti Corruption Commission(ACC) for alleged corruption, he allegedly used various suppliers including Cypher Technology(Pty) Ltd to loot millions within the State owned company.
