BHUNYA:King Mswati officially opened the Usuthu Forest Products-Montingy on Monday,he applauded the company for the new 25KW R2billion Biomass Plant and the creation of jobs.
Montigny Investments Director Andrew Le-Roux, Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini,Cabinet Ministers, businesspeople and members of the royal family among others, were present during the event.
The King further applauded the expansion of the forestry company and the creation of the processing zone to produce high-end quality products.
“The expansion will help in creating jobs for emaSwati, this is highly commendable”, said the King.
On another note,King Mswati said he was happy to see a good or professional working relationship between the company and the workers.
“Previously this company was known as a place of tension with workers but I’m happy to see such a good working and professional relationship that exist between the employer and workers.Another thing, the issue of salaries and payment of terminal benefits should be addressed, it is not good for workers to work for many years and then retire with nothing to face poverty”, said the King.
