MADLENYA:Chief Mgwagwa Gamedze, the King’s Office Chief Executive Officer(CEO) has been accused of evicting “uMkhwenyana” Themba Simelane at Madlenya Chiefdom.
Speaking to this Swaziland News on Tuesday, Simelane said he was married to Lomathamsanqa Hlophe, a daughter to Chief Mgwagwa Gamedze’s sister.
“I was owning my own land when I married Lomathamsanqa Hlophe, a daughter to the Chief’s sister. But she then suggested that, she will speak to the Chief to give us another land as she was not happy with the one I had. The Chief gave us Libandla and we were allocated another land within the area. I was working as a temporal teacher at Maphilingo High School and taking care of my wife, paying for her to study at the College but, trouble started after the Chief secured a job for her at the King’s Office.Ngagucula-ke ngaba nguMasaka ngoba nemsebenti wekuba ngu-temporal teacher besewuphelile, wangishiya kanjalo umfati. Chief Mgwagwa Gamedze had not responded to a text message sent to him on the subject matter.
Reached for comments on Tuesday evening, Lomathamsanqa Hlophe urged her ex-husband to approach uMphakatsi regarding the matter.
“He must just approach uMphakatsi, he will find Indvuna and other elders to assist him regarding this matter”, she said.
The house allegedly left by Themba Simelane after being evicted by the Chief.
