Beaten But Not Broken to host a women conference in collaboration with One Billion Rising

MBABANE: Beaten But Not Broken, a women and girl child empowerment organisation will on the 28 November host a women empowerment conference in collaboration with One Billion Rising Campaign.

In an interview with this Swaziland News,Lindiwe Makhubu,the founder and director of  Beaten But Not Broken said as part of the 16 days of activism they seek to empower a lot of swazi women regarding their rights.

“The conference has been dubbed ‘fix your crown’, we will be empowering women to reach their full potential. We will teach them how to deal with abusive relationships. We will look at the welfare of women at the workplace and at home, we will also look at how a woman can be independent. Lastly we will look at healthy living and spiritual nourishment. We will be having speakers that will be focusing on the spiritual upliftment of our participants”, she said.

Tickets costs from E 50 for Imbali Yemaswati,E 100 for bronze circle, E150 for silver circle and E 200 for golden circle, they are distributed at Spur and Ocean basket, Mbabane.
