MANZINI: Mancoba Khumalo, the Minister of Commerce,Industry and Trade says, consumer spending remains crucial in enhancing economic growth and job creation.
Government online platforms reported that, the Minister was speaking on Friday when officiating the Eswatini Consumer Choice Awards.
“Consumer spending is crucial for our growth, creating jobs and driving prosperity. Supporting our Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through local purchases strengthens our economy and prepares us for future challenges.I am excited to announce the Eswatini Consumer Choice Awards, which will honor local excellence with a Symbol of Excellence. This badge will enhance product visibility and consumer confidence, empowering us to make informed choices and support the best local offerings,” said the Minister.
