Eswatini Bank Managing Director Nozizwe Mulela hands over Mobile Kitchen worth R50,000.00 to winner Nconco at the International Trade Fair(EITF).

MANZINI: Nozizwe Mulela, the Managing Director(MD) of the Eswatini Bank has handed over a Mobile Kitchen worth fifty thousand Rands(R50,000.00) to winner Nconco’s Kitchen.

The Managing Director handed over the Kitchen on Sunday in the presence of Mancoba Khumalo, the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade and this comes after the bank pledged the Mobile Kitchen to the Best Vendor at the Eswatini International Trade Fair(EITF).

“It is with much pleasure, to be part of this ceremony hosted during the on-going, and may I add, exciting 2024 Eswatini International Trade Fair (EITF).On behalf of Eswatini Bank, we are happy to be a part of the Trade Fair (EITF) as this time of the year brings about a renewed sense of energy and hope for businesses in our kingdom.The same can also be said about this event, as we believe that it’s a life changing ceremony for the eventual winner.Eswatini Bank Sponsorship

Honorable Minister, just a few weeks ago Eswatini Bank announced its sponsorship for this year’s Eswatini International Trade Fair of E150 000.00 (One hundred and fifty thousand emalangeni).Amongst other initiatives, this sponsorship included a mobile kitchen valued at E50 000 (fifty thousand emalangeni). This being a prize to be awarded to the best vendor, to promote inclusivity of women and the youth in business.Our Role and Commitment.We have been assured that the operations of the mobile kitchen will be monitored for a year by EIPA, and we applaud this as a bank”, said the Managing Director.

Mulela further said to support “this initiative by EIPA,Eswatini Bank is available to also offer technical support through the SMME Division” which comprises of Business Bankers spread throughout the country, aligned to the branch network.

“Honourable Minister, a few days ago, the bank hosted a Business Forum right here at the Trade Fair, that attracted many SMMEs, including Agribusiness customers. The Business Forum whose theme was ‘Access to Finance: Eswatini Bank’s perspective’ unpacked the various ways through which emaSwatini can access finance. This included the MoUs we have in place to provide credit guarantees with partners such as CBE, NAMBoard, CFI and more, critical enablers for the growth and development of small and medium enterprises.

All that I have highlighted, is a platform that our winning vendor here today and many others can utilise for their business.In summary, to whosoever our winner will be today, we have credit facilities available, which are a component of our SMME financial solutions”, she said.
