MBABANE:Zweli Martin Dlamini, the editor of this Swaziland News has advised Land Management Board member Prince Mbuyisa to present cattle to King Mswati, apologize for raping Princess Mncane’s daughter and leave Nation Magazine editor Bheki Makhubu alone.
Reacting to an article published by the Swazi Observer where Prince Mbuyisa ordered editor Makhubu to apologise to the King for taking on Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini during the recent Breakfast Meeting with editors, Dlamini described Prince Mbuyisa as a rapist who was convicted by the courts for raping his sister’s daughter.
“The King was very angry and he has been avoiding to appoint him into Governing Councils, the media cannot be directed by a rapist how to do its job which is to hold those in power accountable among others. One of the King’s Protocol Officers recently told me that, Prince Mbuyisa calls ordinary emaSwati ‘tinja’, he said they were in a conversation about a certain issue at Ludzidzini Palace and Prince Mbuyisa said “ngeke ngitjelwe luntfu, inja ingangitjelani lakhaya laBabe”.Prince Mbuyisa cannot tell a senior editor to apologise to the King for doing his job which is to hold Government including the Prime Minister accountable because that will never happen. It’s a pity that this royal rapist thinks he can tell an editor to apologize to the King when in fact, it is him who owes Mswati, Princess Mncane’s brother Prince Thumbumuzi an apology for raping uMshana”, said the editor.
Dlamini said, Prince Mbuyisa did not undergo a proper rehabilitation process after being released from prison for rape and warned Mswati to avoid appointing rapists into Governing Councils.
“One day this rapist will rape even the King’s wives(emaKhosikati) because an un-rehabilitated rapist will always be a rapist”, said the editor.
