MBABANE:Mbongeni Mbingo, the captured Managing editor of the Swazi Observer has been praised by Government for stopping Nation Magazine editor Bheki Makhubu from questioning Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini during the Breakfast Meeting on Friday morning.
This is contained in a press statement released by Alpheous Nxumalo,the Government Spokesperson subsequent to the tension that erupted at the Mountain-Inn after senior editor Makhubu questioned the PM on issues of public interest.
“Government also recognises and acknowledges the importance of the intervention of the Chairman of the Editors Forum, Mr Mbongeni Mbingo, to calm the situation down”, reads the statement in part.
