EZULWINI:Vusi Manoma Masango, the National Commission of Police has called for stakeholders’ collective effort to fight transnational organized crime.
The National Commissioner shared these sentiments when officially opening the stakeholders workshop at Sibane Hotel,the workshop “seeks to build National Response to Transnational Organized Crime”.
The law enforcement agency reported through its online platforms on Monday evening that, the workshop was facilitated by the Southern African Development Community(SADC) Secretariat, the International Criminal Police Organization(INTERPOL) Regional Bureau with support from the Institute of Security Studies.
“Integrated and collective approaches encompassing all stakeholders in the organised crime value chain will ensure a foolproof strategy that will address the threats and challenges posed by organised crime in their entirety while ensuring that the strategy is futureproofed,”said the National Commissioner.
