PUDEMO and other political parties to organize protests again at Gege-Mbondzela after Minister Prince Lonkhokhela lied and disappeared after promising assistance to residents whose homes were demolished.

GEGE:Siboniso Mkhabela, the National Organizing Secretary(NOS) of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) has confirmed that, the political organization might soon join other political organizations in protests at Gege-Mbondzela.

This comes after Natural Resources Minister Prince Lonkhokhela visited the area to calm the situation, promised assistance to residents whose homes were demolished, and subsequently disappeared.

The Minister declined to comment when asked when will Government provide the assistance to the affected residents.

But Siboniso Mkhabela, the PUDEMO National Organizer told this Swaziland News on Saturday that, the organization will not watch while emaSwati struggle at Mbondzela.

“PUDEMO will always stand by emaSwati in their struggles and therefore, we will definitely be back at Mbondzela to demand assistance for the residents.Bantfu babulawa ngemakhata eMbondzela as we speak”, he said.

Senator Dlamini, the Deputy President of the Economic Freedom Fighters(EFF) Swaziland confirmed to this publication that, his organization “is currently engaging PUDEMO”  regarding the Mbondzela issue.
