Environment Minister Jane Mkhonta-Simelane launches Temvelo Awards 2024.

MBABANE: Jane Mkhonta-Simelane, the Minister of Tourism and Environmental has launched the 2024 Temvelo Awards.

The awards seek to honor those who have turned concern into action including,those who have demonstrated that real change is not only possible but achievable,with regard to environmental protection.

“From innovative solutions in renewable energy to ground breaking initiatives in waste reduction, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable agriculture”, reads an online report published by the Eswatini Environment Authority(EEA) on Friday.

On another note, the awards seeks to promote environmental protection and preservation including mitigating the effects of climate change.
