MBABANE:Velaphi Mamba, a human rights defender says, the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) including President Mlungisi Makhanya is under attack from the Tinkhundla regime in collaboration with political parties and/or counter revolutionaries.
A counter revolutionary is a person who pretends to be fighting for democracy while engaging in activities that sabotage others fighting for freedom.
PUDEMO, the eSwatini main and largest liberation movement is currently being attacked for fighting for democracy.
Speaking on this Visionary Perspective Program on Sunday, the human rights defender said, they were aware of this co-ordinated effort by the Tinkhundla regime and counter revolutionaries against the PUDEMO President.
“They were thinking that he will die and immediately after learning that he was recovering in hospital, they launched a social media campaign attacking him.This is a project for Tinkhundla in collaboration with other political parties but they won’t succeed in destroying PUDEMO”, he said.
