MBABANE:Penuel Malinga, the Secretary General of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) has, on behalf of the political organization, released a statement of condolences after the death of ex-warder Bheka Magagula.

“Cde Bheka, a former correctional service officer, made the courageous decision to defy King Mswati’s regime and join the struggle for democracy in Swaziland. Following the tragic events of the June 2021 massacre, he left the Eswatini Correctional Service, choosing to stand with those advocating for change which made him an enemy and a target for the Royal Eswatini Police Service”, reads the statement in part.
