Eswatini TV Chief Executive Officer(CEO) Mlamuli Dlamini reported to CMAC for refusing to increase salaries for employees.

MBABANE:Mlamuli Dlamini, the Eswatini TV Chief Executive Officer(CEO) has been reported to the Conciliation Mediation and Arbitration Commission(CMAC) for allegedly refusing to increase salaries for workers.

Issues that form part of the report of dispute include a salary review, Cost of Living Adjustment(COLA) and a 10% Medical Aid.

The matter was declared unresolved by CMAC Commissioner Thabani Gina on the 1st October 2024 and, the Media Workers Union representing the workers might soon approach the Industrial Court in terms of the Industrial Relations Act.

On another note, this Swaziland News previously reported that, the CEO was at loggerheads with the Media Union after he suspended workers merely for reporting him to Information Minister Savannah Maziya amid allegations of corruption.

The workers alleged that,rampant corruption was one of the reasons, the State owned media companies struggled to increase their salaries.
