Eswatini Communications Commission(ESCCOM) visit St Marks High School as part of Cybersecurity Awareness Month Campaign.

MBABANE:The Eswatini Communications Commission(ESCCOM) in partnership with the Ministry of Information, Communications and Technology(ICT) and the police visited St Marks High School as part of the Cybersecurity Awareness Month Campaign.

As reported by Government online platforms, pupils were engaged on several cyber crime topics, including cyber bullying, cyber stalking, sex grooming and fraud. 

“The goal of this campaign is to educate emaSwati about staying safe in the cyberspace and protecting the Nation\'s  digital future by being responsible digital citizens.Some of the objectives of the campaign  focusing on young people are:Protect Eswatini’s youth from online exploitation.Promote a culture of responsible digital citizenship, and;Equip students with tools to recognize, prevent, and report harmful cyber activities”, reads the online report.
