MBABANE:Bongani Ngwenya, the Director of Ngculwini eHawini Lifestyle has been arrested for alleged over five hundred thousand Rands(R500,000.00) fraud.
Ngwenya allegedly colluded with others to defraud Medical Insurance companies by using personal information for members of the public without their knowledge.
It is alleged that,Ngwenya who was working for Dups Insurance(now United Holdings) and Women and Children Private Clinic, would use details of previous ‘patients’ to claim monies from Medical Aid Insurance companies as if, the clients were treated in the hospital when in fact,that was allegedly not the case.
Ngwenya and his co-accused appeared in court on Friday and were granted bail amounting to one hundred thousand Rands(R100,000.00) each.
The other accused persons were allegedly pretending to be doctors who treated the patients.
