NGCULWINI:Nhlanhla Msweli, the owner of Ehawini Lifestyle who rented the premises to over five hundred thousand Rands(R500,000.00) insurance fraud suspect Bongani Ngwenya, has written a letter to the lessee informing or communicating a notice intending to terminate the lease agreement.
This disclosure comes after this Swaziland News reported that, Ngwenya was arrested for allegedly defrauding Medical Aid insurance companies over R500,000.00, he was subsequently granted one hundred thousand Rands(R100,000.00) bail by the High Court.
“Following your breach of the lease agreement entered into the parties by failure to pay rentals on the due date, the Lessor is now invoking Clause 5.3 of the lease agreement until such breach is remedied”,reads the letter in part dated 11th October 2024.
Efforts to reach Bongani Ngwenya who was renting the premises proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.
The landlord confirmed the letter but declined to comment further.
”We also wish to disassociate ourselves as the owners of Ehawini, from the fraud allegations involving our tenant”, he said.
